Refund Policy
Version 2
1. Principle
This policy follows the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce ("the Act"). It does not reduce any right the law gives a consumer. Where this policy and the law differ, the law prevails. Buyers outside Korea keep the mandatory consumer rights of their country of residence where those are stronger.
2. Withdrawal (change of mind)
- You may withdraw from the purchase within 7 days of receiving the product. If you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, the period is 14 days from receipt.
- Ask through the support centre, giving the order number and the email address used at checkout (or sign in, if you have an account).
- Before the parcel arrives you may cancel at any time. Once it has been dispatched, it is handled as a return.
3. When withdrawal is limited
Withdrawal may not be available in the cases below (Act art. 17(2); for EU consumers, Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16).
- ★ The sealed packaging of the USB has been opened. This product is software on a copyable medium, so breaking the seal ends the right to withdraw. The seal carries this notice and it is shown again at checkout. If you want to inspect the item first, contact the support centre before opening the seal.
- The product has been lost or damaged through the buyer's fault — opening the outer packaging to inspect the item does not count.
- Use or partial consumption has materially reduced the value of the product.
- Time has passed to the point where the product can no longer reasonably be resold.
If the Company did not disclose the above in advance, these limits do not apply.
4. Faulty or wrong items — within 3 months
Where the product differs from its description or from the contract, you may withdraw within 30 days of discovering that and within 3 months of receipt (Act art. 17(3)). The limits in clause 3 do not apply here — you may return or exchange the product even if the seal is broken.
- the USB is not recognised, or the software does not run;
- the item or quantity differs from the order;
- the item arrived damaged.
Sending a description and photographs to the support centre makes this quicker.
5. Who pays the shipping
- Change of mind · ordering error — return shipping and redelivery are both paid by the buyer.
- Defect · wrong item · damage in transit — return shipping and redelivery are both paid by the Company.
- Wrong address · repeated absence causing a return — return shipping and redelivery are both paid by the buyer.
On international orders, customs duties and import taxes may not be recoverable, because they are paid to a customs authority and not to the Company. Whether and how they are refunded follows the rules of that country.
6. How and when you are refunded
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, through Toss Payments. The Company does not send cash to a different account.
- The Company refunds or cancels within 3 business days of receiving the returned item or confirming its return (Act art. 18(2)).
- Card refunds may take several more days to appear, depending on the card issuer; foreign-card and PayPal refunds can take longer. The Company's own processing finishes within the period above.
- If the Company exceeds that period, statutory delay interest is added.
7. Making a claim and sending the item back
- Claim: write to the support centre (
/support) with the order number, the email used at checkout and the reason. The Company then explains how to return the item. Sending it back before those instructions can delay the check. - Return address: nexonbook Corp. — Tilewind Returns, 26F, V557, POSCO
Tower-Songdo, 165, Convensia-daero, Songdo International Business District, Yeonsu-gu,
Incheon 21998, Republic of Korea.
Please contact the support centre before shipping. - Return the USB, its packaging and anything enclosed.
8. Licence and the USB
- When a return completes, the licence on that USB ends with it. The Company keeps the licence number and the engraved USB number on the order record for authenticity.
- A lost or damaged USB is not a ground for refund. Give the Company the licence number or the engraved number and it will explain the replacement terms, which may be chargeable.
9. If the Company stops selling the product
Even if the Company withdraws the product from sale, USBs already sold keep working offline — running them needs no Company server. Replacement and support may become limited; the Company announces the date and scope in advance.
10. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit rights given by the Act, the Framework Act on Consumers or other applicable law. Where a dispute is not resolved, you may apply to the Korea Consumer Agency, the Electronic Documents & Transactions Dispute Mediation Committee, or the equivalent body in your own country.
